About this tool

The ShishwaLab Timestamp Converter translates Unix epoch values to human-readable ISO, UTC, and local strings, and converts date-time picks back to Unix seconds or milliseconds.

Use it while debugging logs, JWT exp claims, cookie expiry, or API payloads that mix second and millisecond epochs.

All conversion is local. Values are not uploaded to ShishwaLab servers.

Tips for better results

  • If a date looks far in the future, you may be treating milliseconds as seconds—or the reverse.
  • Use Now to capture the current instant quickly.
  • ISO output is always UTC with a Z suffix from toISOString().
  • Extremely large magnitudes are rejected as out of range for JavaScript Date.

How to use

  1. 1 Enter a Unix timestamp (seconds or milliseconds) or pick a local date-time.
  2. 2 Click Convert from timestamp or Convert from date, or use Now.
  3. 3 Copy the summary fields, or reset.
