Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-31. ShishwaLab (freetool.shishwa.com) is operated by Shishwa Technologies. This policy explains what we process, what stays in your browser, and how advertising may work when enabled.

Privacy-first tooling (default)

Many ShishwaLab tools are designed to process inputs locally in your browser. Examples include password and UUID generation, hashing, JSON format/validate, case conversion, percentage/BMI/BMR math, text diffs, and similar utilities. For those tools, the content you type or paste is used in the page’s JavaScript memory to produce a result and is not uploaded to ShishwaLab application servers as part of the core feature.

Closing or refreshing the tab clears that working memory. We do not require an account to use core tools. You remain responsible for how you copy, store, or share outputs on your own devices.

Information we may collect

Separately from tool inputs, hosting and analytics infrastructure may process standard technical data such as IP address, page URLs, referrers, device/browser type, and timestamps. Exact analytics vendors can change; when analytics are active they help us understand aggregate usage and fix reliability issues.

Tool inputs for calculators, generators, and file utilities are intended to remain client-side unless a feature clearly states a network dependency (for example a live exchange-rate lookup).

Feedback and contact submissions

If you use the Contact page feedback form, we collect the information you choose to submit so we can review product ideas and improve ShishwaLab. That may include:

• Feedback category (for example, tool improvement, new tool idea, or bug report)
• Related tool name, if you select one
• Your message / suggestion text
• Optional email address, if you provide one for follow-up
• Basic technical context such as browser user agent and the page path used to submit the form

Feedback is stored privately for Shishwa Technologies / ShishwaLab. We do not sell feedback submissions. Do not include passwords, payment card numbers, government IDs, or other highly sensitive personal data in feedback messages.

How we use feedback

We use submitted feedback to prioritize tool improvements, plan future tools, fix bugs, and (only if you shared an email) optionally reply to you. Access is limited to people operating ShishwaLab.

Files, images, PDFs, and models

Browser-based image and PDF utilities are built to process files in the page when possible (for example local compression, merging with client libraries, or on-device model inference after model files are fetched). Fetched model or library files are not the same as uploading your personal document to a ShishwaLab content API. Always read the on-page note for a specific tool if you are unsure.

Speech recognition tools

The Speech to Text tool uses your browser’s Web Speech API / SpeechRecognition where available. ShishwaLab does not upload microphone audio to ShishwaLab servers and does not call a separate paid transcription API. Many browsers (especially Chromium-based ones) may still send audio to the browser vendor’s speech service to produce text. That path is controlled by the browser vendor, not by a ShishwaLab transcription backend. If SpeechRecognition is unavailable, the page shows an Unsupported state instead of pretending to transcribe offline.

Text to speech tools

The Text to Speech tool uses your browser’s SpeechSynthesis API and installed system/browser voices to read text aloud. ShishwaLab does not upload your text to ShishwaLab servers for TTS and does not call a separate paid text-to-speech API. Playback happens on your device speakers. This tool does not generate downloadable audio files (no MP3/WAV export). If SpeechSynthesis is unavailable, the page shows an Unsupported state.

Chart generator tools

The Chart Generator parses CSV, TSV, JSON, and pasted tables and renders charts in your browser with a lazy-loaded Chart.js build. ShishwaLab does not upload your dataset to ShishwaLab servers and does not call a paid AI or charting API. PNG and SVG downloads are created locally from the rendered chart or series data. Column detection and insights (maximum, minimum, percentage change, trend, rankings) are deterministic calculations—not generative AI analysis.

Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

Some tools may use browser storage for convenience features you opt into (for example saving local favorites). Advertising and analytics partners, when enabled, may set cookies or use similar technologies to measure delivery and prevent fraud. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking cookies may affect some site features.

Advertising (Google AdSense and partners)

ShishwaLab may use Google AdSense or similar partners to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to personalize or measure ads according to Google’s policies. Learn more in Google’s Advertising technologies and Google Privacy Policy. Where required, we will present a consent experience (CMP) before non-essential ad cookies are used.

Site builds can enable or disable the AdSense script via configuration. Empty ad slots are placeholders until units are approved and inserted. Ads are intended to support hosting of free tools and should not replace the primary content on a page.

Children

ShishwaLab is a general-audience productivity site. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Do not submit personal information from children through feedback forms.

International visitors

ShishwaLab may be hosted on infrastructure that processes data in different regions (for example Cloudflare). By using the site you understand that technical data necessary to deliver pages may be processed in those locations subject to applicable law.

Updates

We may update this policy as tools, analytics, hosting, or advertising integrations change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
